Community Content

Participation in the community is also subject to the The Marmoset Society Community Rules displayed during registration and within the community.
Animal Sales
The Marmoset Society is not an animal marketplace. Buying, selling, trading, or soliciting the sale of marmosets through our community is prohibited.
Educational discussion concerning breeders, responsible acquisition, preparation for ownership, and members’ experiences may be permitted when it does not constitute an advertisement, solicitation, or arrangement for an animal transaction.
Animal Welfare
The Marmoset Society is intended to encourage responsible care and thoughtful discussion about marmoset welfare. Content encouraging abuse, neglect, intentional harm, or clearly dangerous practices may be removed.
Laws and Regulations
Laws and regulations concerning marmoset ownership, possession, transport, breeding, veterinary requirements, and related activities vary by jurisdiction and may change.
The Marmoset Society does not provide legal advice or guarantee that information discussed by members regarding applicable laws is accurate or current. Users are responsible for determining and complying with the laws and regulations applicable to their own circumstances and location.
Member Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity conducted through it.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, the Community Rules, protect members or the website, prevent abuse, or maintain the integrity of the community.
User-Submitted Content
You retain ownership of original content you submit to The Marmoset Society.
